Jharokhas – Windows to Indian Heritage

My Jharokhas series is inspired by the traditional architectural windows found in Indian palaces and havelis. Through these four handcrafted pieces, I wanted to celebrate the beauty of Indian heritage by combining traditional patterns with vibrant colours, intricate details, and mirror work. Each jharokha has its own character, featuring decorative motifs, contrasting backgrounds, and delicate designs that reflect the richness of Indian craftsmanship. The mirrors add light and sparkle, while the arches create a sense of depth and elegance. These artworks bring together tradition and creativity, transforming a beautiful architectural element into contemporary decorative art that carries the warmth, charm, and timeless beauty of Indian culture.
